So, as with most things ’round here, everything has become more complicated than anticipated. The Midtempo radio project started with the idea of creating an audio platform that dynamically selected music based on what would sound best… and it’s now grown to a fairly sophisticated algorithm driven API, with full selection scheduling and a complete testing environment.

Rather than bore you with jargon, or try to explain the complexities (although I’m very happy to do that if anyone wants to listen), I thought a couple of screengrabs from the testing platform might be of interest…

I’ve got to do some work on the track uploading process – it’s currently taking me too long to upload a track, so if I do the work now I’ll save masses of time in the long run. Then to get the songs into the system.

Hopefully we’ll be ready to launch in about eight weeks.
